FYI Lynn's Blog:  https://c2con2wheels.blogspot.com/

After cancellation of the 2020 ride do to COVID and my local club suspending formal group rides my road mileage took a hit. We had a ride planned for the Strasbourg France area, but COVID killed that (we have done two great rides in France, the beaches of Normandy and Dordogne Valley),

During 2021 there was still a lack of club group rides. Lynn and I did start doing a lot more gravel riding during the year. In January 2021 we did Bubba's Space Coast ride and then in July we did Bubba's Colorado ride. Biking at 10,000' is hard on the lungs! With my local Y (where I swim) having appointment only visits it cut down on my access to the pool. I like to bike into the Y; swim ~2000 yards and then bike home (30 miles round trip). With Lynn working from home, she would get a little stir crazy, so we would take our dog Levi for a 1-2 mile walk in the woods most Fridays afternoons. On a sad note Levi past away June 1st he was 14. This is the first time in 44 years I have not had a dog. I've "gone through 9 Brittanies over those 44 years (Blaze, Bertha, Cora, Cokie, Brit, Hunter, Augie, Nolan, and Levi) Lynn will be joining me on this ride and boy is she PUMPED!!! She been organizing her stuff for months and training hard at PowerCycling. The owner Marc has work her into very good shape.

3/1/22
Just got our bikes back from Aberdeen Bike Shop. Mike and his staff overhauled both of our bikes unfortunately weather and time constants  probably will not allow us to get in a real outside ride until San Diego. In the next day or two I will break down the bikes and put them into our cases. Lynn has a Scicon case and I have a Velovault  2 case.
