Left Dawson Creek and headed North (NW), uneventful drive; there were great but not spectacular views except the original highway curved bridge just north of Dawson Creek. This is from 1942 made entirely from wood. It was still use until a few years ago when a minor earthquake made the banks unstable. Toward the end of drive we drove into smoke from fires in the Ft Nelson area. Made it to our boondocking site on Loon Lake. Looks like the BWCAW without the rocks. Hot and MUGGY today ,but not near what the last few days have been!
