Drove to Watson Lake (the town) Welcome to the Yukon!!!!. First time to have internet in a few days. Stocked up on supplies, but first we went to the "Signpost Forest". There we place our post among the 100k already there.
Then we drove on to our overnight camp at a Yukon Campground called Big Creek. This was a nice campground with only 15 sites; when we got there we were about the 4th or 5th group, but by the end of the evening it was full. Had a major rain/thunder storm during the night. When we got up the camp road was just a series of small lakes.
On the drive was our first major wildlife roadside sightings. First a black bear and then a few Bison (100+)
