Conditions: Clear and cool to almost cold with strong winds. The winds were mostly crossing to becoming head winds. Unfortunately one of those cross winds gusted enough to blow Lynn off the road at about mile 9. She basically okay with bruises; so she will be off the bike a few days to recover. Her bike was okay. Today started out with a fast downhill ( where Lynn fell) leading into a long steep hill that ended at the false continental divide and the highest point (6000 ft) of the whole tour. The over night is at the Gadsden Hotel in Douglas.
