Conditions: Started with a warm morning; getting warmer but n red very really hot. Head winds were again a problem but only minor.

Notes: Beautiful somewhat easy day of riding It got warmer but never too hot; the roads were good with a few minor hills. The head winds were minor , but existed 😡. The end point was a very nice state park (Oleno St Park). You got to see the unsoiled north Florida in the park. The past days we have been in the Florida " Spring Country ".

Two days left and a little over 100 miles.

Rider Dr. John cracked his carbon top tube yesterday and with my suggestion he made a splint from two metal strips, epoxy and duct tape, This repair seems to be working and should last for the last two days.

Florida has had the best ditch wild flower (they leave Texas in the dust in this regard)

Mail boxes around here often face the ditch instead of the road---you can see the mail vehicle tracks in the ditch.

Conditions: Long day on the saddle ; some head winds aloft hills for Florida, some quite steep. It became warm to hot over the day

Notes: Not much to say about today other than it was a long day in the saddle. This was a relative hilly day considering we are in flat Florida. Crossing the Apalachicola River we entered our final time zone. This cause us to be an hour later to our over night site. The good news about that was we are stay in a Red Roof Inn. Only 4 more days of riding; about ~250 miles left.

Conditions:Fog for about 5-10 miles then overcast and humid, becoming very warm and muggy.

Notes: Lee and Vickie would have loved this ride---- FAST and FLAT!!!!!!😆 The start was in a heavy fog which took awhile  to lift. The road conditions allowed a fast pace all ride. With the chance of thunder storms, we did not linger at SAG stops except at the "Simply Good BBQ" for BBQ lunch. Then it on the RV park for the overnight stop.

It's a little after 4 pm now and the Thunder storm is now approaching; time to batten down the hatches.
