Conditions: Mostly sunny and warm with light to moderate winds to begin and on the ferry ride. Winds became strong and of course were head winds. The day warmed up but did not become too hot. Fortunately the winds died down later in the ride.
Notes: This was an interesting ride. It started with a 3 mile ride to the ferry and about a 45 minute wait to get onto the ferry. Then a ~45 minute ride to the other side of the bay (Damn the torpedoes full speed ahead). Then we rode through Gulf Shores to the state line into Perdido Key (past the infamous Flora-Bama bar; we missed the Mullet toss). And then onto Pensacola and around the top of Pensacola Bay. It was a long day, but other than the head winds a pleasant day to ride. The over night (2 nights) is at a KOA.
